Tugboat tug 2 – The Exiles wreck

The vessel scuttled is the tugboat tug2. The tugboat is 30m long, has a 7.5 beam and is 15.2m to the top of the wheel house. It has a footprint of approximately 200m2. The tugboat was built at Malta dry docks and was decommissioned after more than a decade in operation. It was originally owned and operated by kalaxlokk Co.Ltd and in 2000 It was purchased by Bezzina Marine Service’s Ltd. Then docked at Bezzina shipyard for the 12 years, it has recently undergone the necessary cleaning and preparation for use as a diving wreck. The tugboat was scuttled in approximately 22m of water in July 2013
